The show choir experience
One company. So many ways to shine.
Show choir combines ensemble singing with choreography and stage presence, bringing pop and musical theatre music to life. At Rise Above, students build those skills together—and share them with audiences in more than one setting.
01 / COMPETITION
Rise to the challenge.
Bring the energy and preparation of the rehearsal room to the competition stage. Our show choir has earned multiple Grand Champion awards through the years.
02 / COMMUNITY
Share the music.
Perform beyond our own theatre at local arts events, performing arts festivals, and community venues. Connect with audiences and represent Rise Above throughout the area.
03 / MAINSTAGE
Make a show your own.
Take on a fully staged musical performed by the show choir. From Be More Chill to this season’s The Addams Family, the company brings a complete story to life.
The show choir on the mainstage
A whole musical. Our show choir at its heart.
Alongside competitions and community appearances, our show choir takes the spotlight in its own mainstage production—a chance to combine ensemble work with characters, choreography, and storytelling.
A look back
Be More Chill
Our previous show choir mainstage production brought the company together for the humor, heart, and high-energy world of Be More Chill.
A shared project. A full production. Memories made from the first rehearsal to the final bow.
